Bactrim DS tablets, DS-500, are for use by men and women who are experiencing recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs). These tablets work by stopping the growth of certain bacteria, which helps to lower the risk of infection.
Adults and adolescents and children over 12 years: the recommended dose is one tablet three times daily for 7 days.
